Oros Events is a running event company dedicated to bringing high quality events to central Colorado and beyond. We strive to create a fun and rewarding atmosphere for all who participate. We put a lot of time and effort into each event, making sure every runner has an enjoyable experience.

Chaffee County Running Club

The only ultramarathon based in Salida, Colorado that features a 50k and a 30k (adding a longer distance in 2026). Generous cutoffs that allow people of all abilities to have a chance to push themselves plus cash prizes for the faster runners. Join us for a fun, family orientated event!

We had a spectacular turnout for our annual Winter Solistice event, hosted by Shavano Restaurant. We had nearly 100 people show up for repeats up the Pano. Stay tuned for our next free event.

Oros Events works closely with the Chaffee County Running Club whose mission is to promote running for health, recreation and competition, for runners of all ages and abilities. This is also the core philosophy of Oros and why we partner with CCRC. Join CCRC here
